Turning Pointe Dance believes in making dance accessible to everyone. Chelsea’s knowledge of teaching students with different abilities allows many children with various backgrounds and difficulties to enjoy dance. Ms Chelsea believes in the technique and structure of dance, but knows how to make it fun for all ages. She feels that children should learn different styles of dance, musical awareness and choreography. In addition, dance is a great way to make new friends, develop flexibility and stay active.
Ms Chelsea believes that learning to dance and perform is a great skill that gives students confidence and helps them be successful in other areas of life as well. Students at Turning Pointe Dance will not only feel valued and cared for, but will also know that they are learning new skills and are continuing to improve as dancers. Dance can indeed be a “Turning Pointe” in your life!
